Swami Vivekananda was a prominent Indian Hindu monk, philosopher, and author. He travelled extensively across the Indian subcontinent and later to the United States. Vivekananda's teachings have inspired countless people to adopt a more spiritual and holistic approach to life. The Ramakrishna Mission and the Vedanta Society continue to promote Vivekananda's teachings.
