Vol. 4 is the fourth studio album by the English heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released by Vertigo Records. The album's production was handled by Patrick Meehan, who was listed as co-producer. The album was recorded at the Record Plant in Los Angeles. Vol. 4 has been re-released in 2012 as part of the Black Sabbath remasters series.
