Verdine White attended Crane High School in Chicago, where he met his future bandmates. White's unique bass playing style combines elements of funk, soul, and rock. He has worked with notable musicians and producers, including Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder. White has been recognized as one of the greatest bassists of all time by Rolling Stone and Bass Player magazines.
